Communicate Your Client Base

Communicate With Your Client and Customer Base
During Quarantine

We are all doing our part in practicing social distancing, keeping ourselves healthy with vitamin C exercise and eating right, and only going out when necessary.

Whether your business is off-line currently or only running at a lower capacity or no matter what the case is, it is crucial to be in touch with your client and customer base.

Your services may not necessarily be needed currently Or on hold until further notice, but your client base must know you are there.

Communicating during a crisis will inevitably impact your ability to make a comeback when the crisis is over.

Last week the government released the Cares Act and several other programs' new rules for unemployment and things to this effect. Looking at this, I found it rather time-consuming, and I needed to decipher what it all meant to our business and our employees.

I automatically assumed for some reason, our accounting service was closed and practicing social distancing. I sent a text to my accountant, and within a minute, he called back. My accountant and his team were fully staffed and dealing with the influx of calls.

My point is that the accounting firm is doing an incredible job of doing what they do best at this time. The firm, like many businesses, does not have the communication engine in place, let your client and customer base know they are there for them.

Until next time be well.
